I have been an educator for over 10 years. Most of that time has been spent teaching middle school math in grades 5-8. When I was just starting out, I remember how challenging it was to manage the classroom, set up organization, create routines, grade work, build student relationships all while trying to maintain a work-life balance and go home at my contracted time.

I always wanted to teach and I thought just because I was good at school as a kid that teaching would be easy too. Boy was I wrong. There is so much that goes into being a quality educator.
